It started with a little herd of savanna animals many years ago. Today Knuthenborg Safari Park is the biggest safari park in Northern Europe with more than 1,200 wild animals. And a huge natural area of about 500 hectares, where you are free to drive, hike or bike among the historical buildings, the rare trees and plants and get up close to all kinds of exotic animals. Go on an intense safari or let yourself go on Denmark's biggest nature-/water playground in the orchard of the estate.

Fuglsang Museum at Fuglsang Manor is one of the few comprehensive art museums in the Region of Zealand. The museum was designed by the renowned British architect Tony Fretton, and the remarkable buildings create a unique setting for the very fine collection of Danish art from the period around 1780-1960: paintings, sculptures and works on paper.

The large and beautiful garden of about five hectares can produce more than 90 different animal species and thousands of plants, flowers and shrubs. On a hill overlooking the sea, we are creating a singing monument on the island of Lolland. It will be a monument that will give everyone from near and far an experience of greatness, closeness and beauty, of time’s migrations and settlements. It will express pride and humbleness, times gone by, the present, and, importantly, time coming.
The DODECALITH (Greek: The Twelve-Stone) consists of twelve menhirs, each 7-8 metreshigh, of which the uppermost 2 metres will be sculpted as heads, all facing inwards towards the centre of a circle approximately 30 metresin diameter.
The stone figures will stand on invisible foundations and they will sing!
Under a circle of natural sitting stones, a 12 channel sound system will be installed. This system will allow spatial electro acoustic song and music – specially created for The DODECALITH – to sound inside the circle at intervals every day, all year round.

The farm Dalbakkegaard is known for their fantastic free-range chickens. The chickens are allowed to grow big and strong throughout 100 days (a conventional chicken needs only 35 days to reach the same weight), they are fed organic poultry feed and have access to wide open spaces and fresh air. In the farm shop you can also find many other delicious products.

Every Friday, everybody from near and far can make a stop at Krenkrerup Brewery - and get a freshly brewed beer. The restaurant is located in the same building as the brewery, and through the windows you have a full view to the core of the brewery. This means that you are close to the master brewer, and you can often see him in action. The restaurant offers a few but carefully selected dishes.
